Steak
Why a favorite? Because it’s delicious, easy to make and doesn’t require a lot of preparation, and uses a crockpot!!! Colorful, with red, green and yellow bell peppers and served on a bed of fluffy white rice, this month we’re sharing one

Pepper Steak
1½ London Broil steak, cut into thin slices
1 medium size green bell pepper, cut in thick strips
1 medium size red
bell pepper, cut in thick strips
1 medium size yellow bell pepper, cut in thick strips
1 medium Vidalia Sweet onion, sliced
3 Tbsp. cup
soy sauce
¼ tsp. each: garlic powder, ground ginger & black pepper
½ tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. light brown sugar
1½ cups beef stock (not beef
broth)
2 Tbsp. corn starch, dissolved in 2 Tbsp. cold water
Hot cooked white rice (we like Uncle Ben’s)
